Designed by Dutch designer Floris Hovers for Rubberband, Fold Motors is an unserious expression of serious design. Strong, sympathetic and colourful, these models are timeless and leave enough room for the imagination. They are meant to be played with for a lifetime.
The name is inspired by the manufacturing process, where sheet metal is die cut and powder coated to create two flat components that are then folded to create the chassis and the body. The revolving axles are installed between the two parts and they form the connectors for the wheels.
The collection includes seven variants of cars and trucks in an assortment of bright and distinctive colours.

Rubberband is a design company that makes stationery, products and accessories for the modern world. Under the creative direction of Ajay Shah and ASDS, the company is dedicated to creating progressive and design led products.

Our design restraint is not aimed at achieving a minimal looking product, nor is it about styling but rather seeking reasoning and balance across function, clarifying use, and creating happiness. And in doing so, proposing a new concept of living and working which is unburdened and fresh.
We also work with international artists and designers who bring new expressions to our products. The pieces in our collection are genuine, flexible and versatile aids to living.

shipping policy
Normal shipping / delivery lead times would be 7 working days. We have partnered with international courier service providers of repute to ensure timely deliveries. Shipping / Delivery charges are $ 15 for orders worldwide.
refund policy
We only accept returns in the unlikely event of the goods received being damaged. In the event of damaged goods you must contact us within 7 days of receiving the item and return to us within 15 days. The customer must pay for the return shipping.
Once returned we will offer either a replacement or refund. We will refund Postage only if goods are faulty or an error has been made on our part.
